Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in performing ARP4754A Avionics System Safety Engineering across multiple EPIC/APEX platforms. You will be involved authoring safety analysis documentation, creating Fault Tree and FMEAs, and performing requirements reviews.

Key Responsibilities

· Design reviews for Safety

· Authoring PSSA/SSA

· Performing FMEAS, FHAs and CMAs

· Systems integration

· Systems validation & verification

· Customer interaction

· Project coordination


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or technical discipline

  • Six plus years experience in aerospace engineering with background working in systems safety analysis


  • Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle

  • Knowledge of ARP-4754A, ARP-4761 as well as DO-178B and DO-245

  • Experience with CAFTA or (RELEX, CECILA)

  • Experience performing FHA, FMEA/FMES, CMA

  • Knowledge of DOORs basics

  • Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.

  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes

  • Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
