Honeywell Senior Software Engineer – Aero Flight Systems Tools in Phoenix, Arizona

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex Tools for our engineering team within Honeywell’s Aero Flight Systems group, primarily BRGA, C919, B787, NG, Airbus and Boeing. You will be integral in creating software system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our team. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

• Ability to code in multiple programming languages

You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering

• 6+ years of programming experience in multiple languages, such as C/C++, C#, MS access, Oracle DB, Perl, Python

• Must be a US Citizen due to export restrictions

• Tool development experience, ideally in the Aero division

• Experience in web development both front and back end, CC/CQ, Tool qualification

• Understanding various software development lifecycle

• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
