We invite you to apply for the role of Production Planner. In this position you will be responsible for delivering tactical activities of purchasing goods and services from defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. You may also be involved in occasional one-off negotiations for non-standard or off-contract buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help to analyze the requirements outlined by the customer, and through experience and use of the necessary company resources: ensure a high rate of success on orders, ensure that responses and proposals are delivered on time and with the highest regard for quality, and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers

  • Review and monitor purchase requisitions

  • Small-scale project management

  • Use safe practices

  • Tackle clearly defined problems

  • Tackle material related problems

  • Ensure timely material ordering

  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell Operating System

  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance

  • Provide data and analysis

  • Resolve shortages and potential shortages


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2 years' experience of production scheduling in manufacturing planning

  • 2 years' experience with MRP/ERP Systems


  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-centric environment

  • English proficient, any other language is a plus

  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment desirable.

  • Ability to lead process improvement

  • Knowledge in Sigma or lean
