An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Field Service Specialist within the Technical Services – Europe and FSU (EAFSU) group of UOP's Engineering, Service and Equipment organization.

This role is a 100% field based role, and involves extensive global travel to our сustomer facilities. The field service role is a front-line, customer facing role with direct responsibility to ensure the safe and successful commissioning/operation of UOP technology and products.

The position will report to the Field Service Manager in Guildford, UK and will

maintain close communication and interaction with Service management in Moscow.

The position will be based in Moscow.

Direct Accountabilities:

Onsite support of new process unit start-ups, turnarounds, revamps, troubleshooting and optimization across a range of refinery and petrochemical technologies

Work UOP-licensed processes and a variety of individuals within and outside of UOP

Inspections of process equipment with respect to design and construction standards

Creating detailed operating procedure and providing instruction to the customer in their execution

Supervision of customer operating team during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Giving detailed daily instructions and immediate onsite technical support

Establishing process guidelines to line out and prepare unit for successful performance test with respect to UOP guarantee parameters

Troubleshooting and resolution of operational problems Develop in to chief advisor role and lead UOP team at a customer site.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Fluent in Russian and English, plus other languages will always be valuable
  • Ability to travel up to 100% annually to both domestic and international sites.
  • Must have a strong, confident personality – able to be forceful and direct with customer when requiredMaintain strict adherence to safety and compliance
WE VALUE
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, post university in a technical/industrial role
  • Flexibility to work hours that are dictated by customer requirements and assignment scope
  • Ability to conduct physical inspections requiring climbing up, crawling through & walking onpressure vessels, distillation columns, tanks, and piping is required.
  • Experience in a technical service, engineering, process operations or detail engineering role within the refining/petrochemical industry
