Honeywell is seeking three individuals for Director of Business Security Operations positions supporting three Honeywell business groups (Honeywell Building Technologies in Atlanta, GA; Performance Materials and Technologies in Morris Plains, NJ; and Safety and Productivity Solutions in Charlotte, NC). This role is the direct liaison between these business groups and Honeywell Global Security (HGS) corporate resources. The successful candidate will interface with business leadership to develop and deliver global security solutions. The role demands effective communications, strategic forward thinking and a demonstrated background in the delivery of security services with an understanding of crisis and business continuity management.
Manages and leads the relationship between Honeywell Global Security (HGS) and the business group.
Coordinates complex investigative matters (for example insider threat) in partnership with HGS Investigations, business Legal and business HR resources.
In partnership with HGS Physical Security and Regional Security Officers, coordinates site security and guard resource needs across Honeywell facilities worldwide.
Maintains constant communication and liaison with the Honeywell Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to ensure the safety of Honeywell employees across all sites and business travelers worldwide.
Coordinates with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team to support certain strategic program areas, such as training, exercises, and site resilience, and to collaborate throughout the incident response and crisis management process, as needed.
Reports to the Chief of Business Security Operations to coordinate security matters and use of security resources in partnership with the Directors of Business Security Operations for the other Honeywell business groups.
10 years of business security experience.
5 years of progressive leadership experience

Extensive experience in Crisis Management/Incident Command, Business Continuity Management and Crisis Response.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, able to represent the company’s security program to employees, customers and regulators.
Outstanding relationship management, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills - ability to tailor message and adapt approach for a variety of audiences and manage people. Ideal individual would be able to communicate effectively to a developer at a white board about a security topic all the way up to a board member.
Self-motivated; works well both independently and collaboratively.
Travel as necessary to effectively achieve the company’s information security objectives.
