The Senior Financial Analyst provides Government Compliance and financial guidance to the Qualified sites located within Honeywell Aerospace. This position is an excellent opportunity for growth in a Government oriented business. This individual must be a subject matter expert through experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other government agency supplemental regulations.
This high visibility position will enjoy a partnership with the Defense and Space businesses within Aerospace to develop the best balance of business needs with Government Compliance requirements.
Primary focal point for the maintenance of segment Cost Accounting Standards Disclosure Statements, including approval, tracking and timely disclosure of proposed changes.
Responsible for overseeing the analysis and preparation of cost impacts related to CAS Accounting changes, as well as being the primary interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) regarding the follow-on audit inquires of the proposed change.
This position may be located in Clearwater, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; Tempe, AZ or Albuquerque, NM.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Five or more years of experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government Compliance
Strong SAP experience.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
CPA or other professional certifications considered a plus.
Strong financial and business analytical and problem solving skills.
Independent, self-starter, with a strong work ethic, high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude.
Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and team across organizational or functional boundaries.
Six Sigma certified or trained preferred.
