Lead, direct and set the strategy for the product offering management activities for the NA Gas Product & Solutions portfolio. You will own the end to end product line and will be accountable for growth, profitability, NPI vitality and product life cycle planning. You will be required to partner closely with the Functions like Technology, ISC and Sales to successfully rationalize the product portfolio and develop, manage and execute product roadmaps. You will work closely with people at all levels of the organization to maximize growth, and return on investment of the NA Gas Product & Solutions portfolio.
Meet or exceed the AOP for VCM
Develop and deploy strategic & tactical plans to execute Smart Energy Gas STRAP
Develop, manage and execute product roadmaps
Within the SIOP process own and execute the monthly portfolio review and actively drive product rationalization
Actively support the IOS avoidance process
Drive innovation and NPI based on OVOC that creates growth in new or incremental ways or industries (not cannibalizing or just replacing)
Create the product value propositions and enable sales and other customer facing teams to successfully drive them
Work in close cooperation with the GM and global pricing team to define the right strategic pricing targets
Identify new business opportunities to ensure sustained growth.
Define the market segments of interest and orient the sales channels, both direct & indirect
Conduct VOC to develop and demonstrate strong understanding of the customer’s business and identify where the SME Gas products and solutions are adding value
Set the lead time and OTTR targets for successful order growth
Active participation in customer seminars, exhibitions, presentations and other customer events as well as HPS User Group/Channel Partner business council/meetings
Ability to travel 25% of the time
YOU MUST HAVE
BS or BA or BE Degree - Preferred in: Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Technology (or equivalent knowledge / experience in these fields)
10+ years of experience in smart low power communication technology and head end software solutions
10+ years working with customers in utilities segment
Experience planning, developing and executing sales campaigns or programs in specific markets or for specific products
Full understanding of the Gas and Smart Meter segment and distribution business and the challenges faced by this industry
Proven sales skills in handling key accounts with clear and demonstrable sales results
Management experience, prior experience leading a team (virtual)
Ability to lead change and establish metrics/key indicators
Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills, at all levels of the organization
Track record of developing, executing and achieving tactical and strategic initiatives through active leadership that positively impact global business plans, operating profits, practices, policies and procedures
Working in highly matrix organization
Multilingual skills and cross-cultural experience
