The Strategic Corporate Accounts Business Development Manager is responsible for managing assigned Strategic Corporate Accounts (SCA) to deliver increased and sustainable value to global accounts and Honeywell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and develop new corporate account relationships

  • Align Honeywell’s capabilities to the client’s strategic and tactical business goals and objectives at all levels, from senior executives to operational personnel

  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the client’s operation(s) where Honeywell solutions may add value

  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with clients at all levels, such that Honeywell’s solutions and services become, and are recognized as, strategic to the client

  • Ensure that the value of Honeywell’s solutions are clearly understood and effectively communicated to all appropriate executives and personnel in the client organization

  • Travel domestically and internationally 60% of working time


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ Years industrial sales experience

  • 5+ Years customer engagement experience at corporate senior levels


  • Master’s degree is advantageous

  • Knowledge of specialty chemical, refining, or oil and gas industrial processes

  • Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationships; establishing and building credibility

  • Ability to clearly articulate value and demonstrate how solutions map to customer needs

  • Compelling presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to manage and direct resources towards meeting clearly articulated account objectives

  • Ability to close the sale

  • Execution of effective negotiation strategies and plans

  • High energy individual; Motivate others

  • Optimistic and tenacious at the same time; while applying experience, and a positive attitude consistently to deliver bottom line results for Honeywell

  • Ability to prioritize and focus efforts on best opportunities (short and long term) based on business needs
