Honeywell Supply Planner in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Implement material purchasing, material planning, production planning within Honeywell SPS to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are responsible to resolve material related fulfillment issues due to supply based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes. You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, sourcing, logistics, finance, operations, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive customer delivery performance to supply both external and internal customers

  • Optimize inventory across multiple stocking locations; balancing working capital investment with fulfillment service levels.

  • Manage transportation methods to balance delivery performance with logistics expense.

  • Provide data and analysis to both solve material related problems and drive continuous process improvement.

  • Initially this role will be based in Fort Mill, SC with the potential to move to the Greater Charlotte area in the near future.


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

  • 2-4 years of experience in Supply Planning (including use of MRP/ERP systems)


  • Experience with 3rd party materials purchasing and planning

  • Experience in manufacturing planning

  • Strong sense of accountability

  • Experienced structured problem solving. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Green Belt preferred

  • Proficient in Excel, knowledge of pivot tables

  • Ability to work independently and take direction from others

  • Established skills and experience in Materials management
